Simple and gullible Lino (Piolo Pascual) went to Italy in his quest to find his missing wife. He eventually met Jenny (Claudine Barretto), a confident and assertive domestic helper who is also a well-known figure in the Filipino community. Jenny is so absorbed in her ambitions that, for her, personal relationships are something that should be ignored and given no importance at all. Jenny taught Lino the way of life and facing discrimination in Italy. Their friendship blossomed into a relationship until their love-affair was put to test.
